I'm not saying it can't be done, but you'll have a much better chance if you know someone in-world there who can help guide you and make the learning curve more manageable. Then after camming a while, I decided to try SL again from a different angle and guess what? I still didn't make much lol. I then discovered camming through an evil studio recruiter who was working as "security" at a voice escort club I was working at. It later turned into a job, but I wasn't making very good money. If you go in there with the expectation that it's like a virtual cam site and you can just log in, wave your sexy avatar in front of some horny dudes and make money right away, then you're gonna have a bad time. Then if you still enjoy it after a while and are getting the hang of it, then start making money. Get to know it, get a feel for the culture, the unspoken rules, the styles, the jobs you can have there. If you're already a gamer and enjoy video games, MMO's, etc, then my advice is to start playing it as a hobby or in your spare time. Ruby: The thing with SL or any virtual world is that you have to invest a lot of time (and sometimes money, since long time users will be able to spot freebie items from a mile away) for very little return. I was on it years ago, and it seemed like a very broken "token" value system and a lot of hobbyists competing with you for pennies.and somehow at the end of my experience I got stuck in a maze walking in circles so I never logged in again LOL sounds about right, for both RLC and SL. I guess both games allow their respective currencies to be converted to real money to be cashed out to something like Payoneer or Paxum, etc? I didn't know second life had cam girls on there, but i'v heard of IMVU having more 'adult' features in the game.

It didn't run very well on my laptop with the newer avatar models, they appeared like.naked or were missing limbs, clothing, textures etc haha. I once tried out Second Life on my laptop, just to check it out for fun, but I found it sort of confusing. If you charge 元50 to 4500 for text and 2500 to 250,000 lindens for voice, then make sure your camming is L5000 for those interesting customers. Thanks for the reply! In Second Life, there are tons of girls who charge too low and do not make tons of money.

If you are a cam model, then make sure you charge about L5000 and up while camming. Meanwhile, Red Light Center takes awhile to load up and customers can be cheap. However, Second Life is the best when it comes to pay and freedom. Actually, you are better off with Second Life or IMVU.
